When the pandemic hit in 2020, La Casa Founders Holding Company purchased the building at auction. Our nonprofit organization partnered with the new ownership to reopen its doors to the community. Soon after, the building received official landmark designation, restoring its historical name: La Casa de la Raza. Today, the Restorative Justice Education Center continues to serve from this iconic space — supporting families in crisis, uplifting community voices, and keeping the doors open while the building undergoes its final transformation.

What We Do

The restorative Justice Education Center serves as a refuge and resource center for those who find themselves in fear, injustice, and uncertainty with the law. We provide a safe space where essential support, education, and legal empowerment are offered.

We are honored to provide a safe haven where individuals and families can seek protection through our educational programs and community initiatives. Our goal is to equip those in need with tools to navigate challenges and learn to advocate for their rights and well-being.
